Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of mobile applications on iOS and Android devices

• Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data

• Execute functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing

• Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools

• Validate UI/UX, usability, and compatibility across multiple devices and OS versions

• Verify mobile-specific features such as notifications, gestures, orientation, and offline behavior

• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders

• Re-test fixes and perform regression testing before releases

• Ensure compliance with business and quality requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in manual testing of mobile applications

• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC

• Experience in writing and executing test cases and test scenarios

• Knowledge of defect lifecycle and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)

• Familiarity with different mobile devices, screen sizes, and OS versions

• Understanding of functional and regression testing concepts

• Good analytical and communication skills

• Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman or similar tools)

• Exposure to test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, etc.)
