Guidewire Developer @ Cognizant

Job Description

Guidewire Developer and play a key role in transforming the insurance technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in business and functional requirements review meetings to design and formulate technical specifications for Guidewire implementations.
• Analyze requirements to determine the best approach using Guidewires Out-of-the-Box features or custom solutions.
• Estimate development efforts for both Configuration and Integration tasks.
• Design, develop, and unit test Guidewire configurations and customizations using GOSU.
• Implement Guidewire integration plugins to enable seamless data exchange with vendor partners and internal systems.
• Perform defect triage and fixes during System Testing, End-to-End Testing, and UAT phases.
• Ensure compliance with non-functional, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Prototype and implement system enhancements and new Guidewire product features to address complex business and technical challenges.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Guidewire (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter).
• Strong expertise in GOSU programming and Guidewire Configuration/Integration.
• Solid understanding of insurance domain processes.
• Experience with Agile methodologies; SAFe Agile experience is a strong plus.
• Excellent problem-solving an
• d communication skills.
