Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Attend and rectify No Current / Power Failure complaints within defined SLA timelines
- Fault rectification in Consumer Meter, LT Line, HT Line, Transformer, Feeder, Service Line, Jumper, Pole, Pillar Box, Knife Switch, Underground Cables (LT/HT)
- Use mobile app/tablet to receive complaints and update real-time resolution status
- Take consumer acknowledgement through mobile app (signature/thumb impression)
- Coordinate with Centralized Call Centre for confirmation of rectification
- Identify out-of-scope faults and escalate details with location and technical inputs
- Carry out night patrolling and proactive maintenance when complaint volume is low
- Assist in new connection release work as instructed
- Perform disconnection work as per instructions of Engineer-in-Charge (EIC)
- Handle underground cable fault isolation and restoration (Ring System / RMU) under EIC guidance
- Maintain and record fault details including:
- Outage type & cause
- Rectification action taken
- Time to restore supply
- Meter details (number, type, status before & after rectification)
- Ensure strict compliance with safety norms, use of PPE, and uniform standards
- Carry valid photo ID and remain in prescribed uniform at all times.
Work Schedule
- 24x7 rotational shifts including night duties and emergency calls
