We are currently seeking a Software Engineer II Quality to join our Business Intelligence platform team within Data & Services. This role is ideal for a passionate and driven individual with a strong background in software development and quality engineering. The successful candidate will be intellectually curious, analytically strong, and capable of working independently to deliver high-impact results in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer II (Quality) with 3-5 years of experience in both manual and automated testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Java or Python, Selenium, Cucumber, REST API testing, AI and cloud-based application testing, along with a solid understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web applications, APIs (REST/SOAP), and databases
- Validate application codebases for new features and regression testing using automation frameworks
- Perform performance testing and ensure scalability and reliability of cloud-based applications
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to validate large and complex datasets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Maven
- Participate in Agile/SAFe ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Communicate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders to report bugs, suggest improvements, and ensure alignment on quality goals
- Bachelors/masters degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- ISTQB certified 3-5 years of experience in software testing (manual and automation)
- Proficiency in Java or Python, Selenium, Cucumber, and REST API testing
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to write and debug complex queries
- Experience with performance testing tools and cloud-based application testing
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Maven
- Hands-on experience in Agile/SAFe environments
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently under pressure
- Exposure to AI/ML-based application testing
- Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar
- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
