Job Description
Role & responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for log identification, rule / policy definition, monitoring. incident detection and incident investigation including co-relation analysis
- Identify, define, and validate application and system logs, including release validation.
- Manage logs including storage, security, retention, archival, and purging as per standard, customer, and compliance needs.
- Enable log-based reporting, alerts, and flags.
- Detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents, including forensic and correlation analysis.
- Handle Application Monitoring and SIEM operations.
- Maintain security vulnerability databases.
- Perform proactive vulnerability assessments and reporting.
- Support investigations on demand.
Skills & Knowledge
- Knowledge of Application Monitoring and SIEM tools.
- Basic knowledge of Kubernetes cluster monitoring.
- Basic understanding of Windows, Linux, and web servers (JBoss).
- Basic exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Understanding of industry security best practices.
- Strong analytical skills.
Preferred candidate profile
1. BCA / MCA / BE / B.Tech [CS / EC / IT]
2. 2-4 years of relevant experience.
