Exciting Job Opportunities at Changepond Technologies for Electrical Design Engineer and Instrumentation Designer to join our Chennai team.
- Design Tool - AutoCAD Electrical
- Exp - 3yrs - 10yrs
- Qualification - B.E / B. Tech / Dip (EEE and E & I)
- Work Location - Chennai (Siruseri IT Park)
- Notice Period - Immediate to 15days (Max 30 days)

JD - 1 (Electrical Design - LV) :-
* Strong Experience in Designing Low Voltage and Medium Voltage Switchgear Panels, including Control Panels, Relay panels, Protection and control panels, MCCs, and LT/HT panels.
* Low Voltage Switchgear Design Concepts with ANSI standard
* Familiarity with UL standards is required.
* SEL/ABB/GE/Siemens Relay products Knowledge
* Proficiency in Design Software such as AutoCAD.
* Experience with EPLAN is a plus.
* Applicants should be willing to work in the Chennai location
JD - 2 (Electrical Engineer - MV Switchgear design) :-
* Experience in Medium Voltage Switchgear Design is essential.
* Have a good understanding in VCB & ACB switchgears.
* Knowledge in Electrical standards and specifications (Protection and relay Panels).
* Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts.
* Conduct system analysis, ensure proper selection of components, and ensure functionality of designs.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to panel designs, ensuring efficiency, and functionality.
* Prepare technical documentation, user manuals, and project reports as required.
* Keep up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
* Familiarity with IEEE, ANSI, UL, and NEMA standards for MV Switchgear.
JD - 3 (Control & Instrumentation Design - AutoCAD) :-
1. Design & Preparation of basic / detailed engg. documents for Electrical control & instrumentation.
# C&ID / P&ID / Panel & JB drawings / instrument List / I/O List
# Electrical & Instrumentation Location drawings in AutoCAD 2D/3D.
# General arrangement & Single Line drawings in AutoCAD.
# Control Schematics, Loop drawings, Interconnection drawings and Cable schedules.
2. Proficiency in Design Software such as AutoCAD.
3. Plan & coordinate for technical inputs with proactiveness to meet the project schedules.
4. Good Knowledge of various Instrumentation Standards used with different applications.
5. Shall contribute to the technical development (of design/people) in the work area.
6. Should coordinate with Stake holders independently on drawing / document approval.
7. A team player with good command in English, effective communication and computer skills.
8. Shall be able to contribute for improving on engineering efficiency.
