Commissioning Engineer @ THERMAX

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Testing & Verification: Inspecting, testing, and validating equipment and systems (Chemical / Media reactors, heat exchangers, blowers, compressors, vacuum pumps, chiller & cooling tower, automation, electrical) against plans.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving faults or defects found during testing.
• Documentation: Creating commissioning plans, reports, and user manuals.
• Collaboration: Liaising with project engineers, contractors, and clients.
• Training: Providing technical support and training to site staff.
• Compliance: Ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality regulations, and design specifications.
• Typical tasks:- Conduct site visits and data collection, Develop test procedures and protocols, Perform integrated system testing, Analyze performance data, and Provide technical guidance

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Controls).
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of relevant systems like (Chemical / Media reactors, heat exchangers, blowers, compressors, vacuum pumps, chiller & cooling tower, automation, E&I) testing equipment, interpreting drawings, data analysis.
• Process Knowledge:- Understanding of PSA process, zeolite based systems is essential
• Soft Skills: Problem-solving, communication, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure.

Experience:- 5 to 15 years

Experienced in Biogas Purification Plants, Refinery, Chemical Plants by use of PSA and Membrane systems is preferable.
