About Position:
As a Lead Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining insurance-related applications. You will lead a team of developers, ensure high-quality code, and collaborate with stakeholders to build scalable solutions.

What You'll Do:
- Technical Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of Java developers.
- Software Development: Design and implement Java-based applications using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Microservices.
- API Development: Build and integrate RESTful APIs for insurance claims processing.
- Database Management: Work with SQL Server, Cosmos DB, and other databases.
- Cloud Integration: Deploy applications on AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Security & Authentication: Implement OAuth, JWT, and other authentication mechanisms.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure applications are scalable and efficient.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with business analysts and insurance experts to refine requirements.
- Code Reviews & Best Practices: Maintain high coding standards and conduct peer reviews.
Expertise You'll Bring:
- Senior Developer with over 10 + year of IT experience with preference in Investment banking
- Design and develop scalable, robust and secure Java based architecture.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring, Hibernate, Restful API, Messaging Technologies
- The role demands expertise in middleware technologies, API Management and Enterprise Integration Patterns
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers and other stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Experience in one or more ESB tools(e.g. Mulesoft, Apache Camel) would be an added advantange.
- Understanding of REST, SOAP,API Management and XML technologies
- Familiarities with messaging protocols (e.g. JMS, Apache Active MQ, Kafka)
- Excellent analytical, communication and leadership skills
- Experience in Build and Release management (eg. Git, Bamboo, Jenkins)
- Strong Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
