Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Create 2D and 3D CAD models for diamond jewellery (Domestic Designs) using industry-standard software (Rhino, Matrix, JewelCAD, etc.)
Develop innovative and commercially viable designs based on market trends and internal briefs
Work closely with merchandising and production teams to ensure designs are feasible for manufacturing
Prepare detailed technical drawings, measurements, and stone layouts
Ensure all CAD outputs meet quality, finishing, and proportion standards
Modify designs as per feedback and ensure timely delivery
Maintain design database, version files, and documentation
Coordinate with model-making teams to ensure accurate translation from CAD to final product

Preferred candidate profile

6-12 years of experience as a CAD Designer in the diamond jewellery industry (Domestic)
Strong knowledge of diamond setting styles (prong, pave, micro-pave, channel, etc.)
Expertise in CAD software Rhino / Matrix / JewelCAD
Excellent understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes
Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
