Workload Automation Engineer (IWS / ActiveBatch) @ Citiustech

Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Workload Automation Engineer with strong handson expertise in IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS/TWS) and ActiveBatch Automation. The ideal candidate should have 35+ years of experience in workload automation, production support, and cloud environments (Azure/GCP preferred).

Key Responsibilities

• Install and upgrade IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS) and ActiveBatch (Redwood ActiveBatch).
• Configure and set up scheduling environments, workflows, and automation jobs.
• Provide day-to-day operational support, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Deliver production support for job scheduling, incident management, and escalation handling.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentationinstallation guides, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth scheduling operations and automation delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

• 35+ years of IT experience in workload automation using industrystandard tools.
• Strong, hands-on knowledge of IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler (IWS/TWS) and its associated components.
• Experience with ActiveBatch Automationadministration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent analytical abilities, communication skills, and the capacity to work both independently and in team settings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in:
• IBM Workload Scheduler
• ActiveBatch
• Cloud platforms (Azure/GCP)
• Practical experience in Azure or GCP cloud environments involving workload automation.
• Candidates with both IWS and ActiveBatch expertise will be given priority.
