Designation Title : Senior Engineering Manager (Product Engineering)
Role : GM
Reporting to : Vice President (Product Engineering)

Role Overview : We are looking for the candidate who experience working with internet facing applications, especially with mobile applications on Android and iOS.
Key Responsibilities :
- Work with the leadership team to understand the business priorities and create a long-term Technology / Product roadmap for the organization and drive its implementation.
- Identify the latest tools / software / frameworks; Deploy the right tools, techniques & processes and bring in newer technologies to help developers do their work faster and solve the technology problems more effectively.
- Responsible for product development (full stack) and release which includes architecture, design, development and testing within the agreed timeframes.
- Own all the NFRs (non-functional requirements) for the products.
- Contribute to the selection and hiring of product engineering team members.
- Adapt and iterate quickly based on user feedback and metrics.
Skill and Competencies :
- Well versed with Agile software development and management methods (user stories, iterative development, continuous integration, continuous delivery, shared ownership, test-driven development, etc.) and have the ability to excel within an Agile environment.
- Hands-on with multiple programming languages (with one of them preferably TypeScript or JavaScript or NodeJS).
- Worked with a JavaScript based front-end framework like React, Angular or Vue.js.
- Well versed service oriented architecture and have built and deployed RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints.
- Should have built and shipped features for high-traffic web applications.
- Good with an RDBMS (preferably MySQL) and NoSQL databases like Cassandra or MongoDB.
- Familiar with using observability tools to identify and isolate problems.
- Hands-on with at least one of the public cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud services.
- Should have value progress over perfection and have a track record of shipping value to customers.
- Passionate about working together with a team to solve customer problems.
- Excited about teaching and mentoring junior team members.
- Good command of written and spoken English.

- Any Bachelor degree required.
