Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Mainframe; MVS/JES|

Primary Skills- Mainframe; MVS/JES.

Secondary Skills- OPSMVS

Monitoring & manage Production/Test LPARS.

First level break-fix support for Mainframe-Infrastructure and its components

.Ensure daily process & procedures remain accurate and up to date.

Perform operational functions such as IPLs ;

SAD and scheduled changes.

Experience on OPSMVS; knowledge of system commands MVS/JES.HMC and Hardware support that are operated by customers or their third parties.Monitor batch cycles for daily; weekly; monthly; quarterly; yearly jobs and report statistics.

Ensure timely completion of the batch cycles as per the schedule.

Check for long running jobs and investigate in case there are any loop back issues with batch jobs.

Working on all Weekend activities. Identify and correct errors through proactive intervention.
