Sales Lead Territory Sales Incharge (HCV)

Reporting To:

National Sales Head HCV

Locations:

  • Hospet (510 years experience)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a result-oriented Heavy Commercial Vehicles (HCV) Sales professional to manage territory-level sales operations. This is a frontline sales role focused on driving sales of heavy-duty trucks and related commercial vehicles by building strong relationships with fleet operators, logistics companies, and infrastructure customers.

Candidates must have hands-on experience in the HCV / Construction Equipment industry, preferably from authorized dealer networks, with exposure to the same customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and develop new customers in transport, logistics, construction, and infrastructure sectors
  • Drive sales of heavy commercial vehicles (trucks, prime movers, trailers, etc.)
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations
  • Negotiate pricing and commercial terms and close sales
  • Ensure timely order processing and vehicle delivery

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with fleet operators and bulk customers
  • Handle customer queries and coordinate after-sales support with internal teams
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business

Market Intelligence

  • Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and market movements
  • Gather customer feedback and share inputs for product and pricing strategies

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate sales data, customer interactions, and follow-ups in CRM systems
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales performance and forecast reports

Eligibility & Qualifications:

  • 58 years of experience in truck / HCV sales
  • Experience with authorized dealers of commercial vehicle brands preferred
  • Strong exposure to fleet, logistics, and infrastructure customers
  • Diploma / Engineering qualification or relevant industry experience
  • Proven ability to work in a target-driven, frontline sales environment
