Job Description
Role Proficiency:
Ensuring adherence to test practices and process to improve test coverage
Outcomes:
- Create Test Estimates and Schedules
- Identify business processes conduct risk analysis and ensure test coverage
- Ensure adherence of processes and standards

Additional Comments:Job Summary: Responsible for the coordination and completion of software and system testing activities for all sizes of projects. Works closely with the project teams to analyze requirements, provide estimates, build, and execute test cases, reporting results, and create/maintain automated test cases. Accountabilities: - Reviews and approves deliverables and work products. Coordinates project activities with both onshore and offshore resources. Reviews monitors and summarizes progress of project testing activities. - Develops test strategies, approaches or plans, and documents test cases for client projects - Works with project teams to identify the appropriate data for testing, and prepare or direct the preparation of data for the test cases in the applicable test environments. - Executes test cases and documents results. - Assists application developers and technical support staff in the analysis and timely resolution of identified problems. Basic Qualifications: Education and Experience: Bachelor's and 8+ years or HS/GED and 8 years Preferred technical qualifications: ----------------------------------- - Experience in writing test cases either manually (i.e. Excel spreadsheet) or using a test case management tool to match requirements/expected results - Document test results - At times, document and train new/changed process and/or features - Nice to have: Testcase management tool experience, ideally Zephyr Enterprise, but experience using any tool would be nice - Experience in executing test steps/cases for software enhancements, features, fixes end-to-end to match requirements/expected results - Creating bugs/defects for issues found and re-testing until issues resolved and requirements are met - Experience with writing database queries and general concept of how to gather data from multiple tables o Ideally using: - Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio - Oracle SQL Developer Experienced skillset using: o Microsoft Outlook o Microsoft Excel o Microsoft Word o Microsoft TEAMS Preferred "Soft skills": -------------------------- -Strong verbal & written skills o Presentation skills would be nice (i.e. they feel comfortable presenting test case reviews, speaking to larger teams about test results, issues found, etc.) - Coachable and trainable - Self-motivated - Ability to work independently, as well as effectively within a team - Not afraid to ask questions - Willingness to independently investigate and explore, while also knowing when to seek assistance to avoid unnecessary delays - Ability to retain what is learned - Attention to detail and quality - Critical thinking skills - ability to think a little outside of the defined scope to consider any other possible impacts Availability for onshore teams meetings - typically early 8AM-10AM CST (evening hours IST) - Quick Connects o Design Reviews o Testcase Reviews o Special training meetings o Other meetings within this timeframe Nice-to-have, but not mandatory qualifications: ------------------------------------------------ - Experience in or familiarity with SDLC process: requirements > design > develop > test > bugs/defects > re-test> implementation - Atlassian JIRA - Confluence - Experience with automated testing-writing and/or executing - Postman - Json - JMeter - Katalon - Harness -Automation Testing - Performance Testing
