Qualification
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field
Strong foundation in NLP, ML, LLMs, vector embeddings, and experimental research
Prior Work Experience
- 01 years of experience in AI/ML research, NLP, GenAI, or applied machine learning
Experience running experiments, benchmarking models, and validating hypotheses
Hands-on experience with Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, HuggingFace, LangChain
About This Role
The AI Research Engineer will be a core part of the AI Center of Excellence (AICOE), responsible for driving research, experimentation, and prototyping. This role explores new AI techniques, evaluates feasibility, and builds foundational models and tools that will power Authbridges next-generation BGV and Risk Assurance products.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on LLMs, GenAI, document intelligence, retrieval systems, and risk-scoring models
Execute experiments, benchmarking studies, and rapid PoCs to validate technical feasibility
Build foundational components such as embeddings, classifiers, model evaluators, and reusable pipelines
Perform data analysis, feature engineering, model training, and early-stage validation
Prepare research documentation, model cards, demo environments, and internal knowledge artefacts
Ensure ethical AI usage, transparency, reproducibility, and compliance with privacy/security guidelines
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and AI Solutions teams on feature feasibility
Support the AI Manager in identifying opportunities, shaping the AI roadmap, and conducting reviews
Key Skills Required
- Strong understanding of LLMs, vector databases, NLP, and model evaluation
Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow, Transformers, LangChain)
Ability to design and conduct experiments with clear documentation
Analytical, structured thinking with a research-oriented mindset
Strong communication and ability to present findings clearly
