Job Profile
Job Title: Senior Business Analyst
Location: Chennai (Onsite)
Experience: 6 to 12 Years
Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst with at least 6-12 years of experience to join our in-office team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in requirement gathering, documentation, process design, SQL, and API testing, while working closely with cross-functional teams. We value professionals who are confident, positive-minded, have excellent communication skills, and are passionate about continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Create comprehensive Use Cases, User Stories, SRS/BRDs.
Design workflow diagrams, process maps, and data flow diagrams to visualize requirements and processes.
Conduct functional, API, and integration testing for system validation.
Write and optimize SQL queries to analyze data and support decision-making.
Use MS Excel to build reports, perform analysis, and summarize insights.
Work closely with development, QA, and product teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Perform gap analysis and suggest process improvements.
Participate in project planning, sprint reviews, and daily stand-ups.
Prepare user manuals, training materials, and support UAT activities.
Maintain proper documentation for audits and knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience as a Business Analyst in a software/product-based environment.
Strong experience in writing Use Cases, SRS, and BRDs.
Proficiency in SQL (joins, subqueries, aggregations).
Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, charts, etc.).
Practical experience in API testing (Postman, Swagger, etc.).
Experience in integration/system testing with knowledge of RESTful APIs.
Proficiency in tools like Lucidchart, Draw.io, or Visio for flow diagrams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly organized, confident, positive, and self-driven.
Passion for continuous learning, innovation, and problem-solving.
Only Chennai-based candidates (or those who have been residing in Chennai for at least the last 5 years will be considered. )
