We are seeking a Senior SQL Engineer with strong expertise in MS SQL Server Development and Reporting . This role will involve designing, optimizing, and maintaining complex database solutions while supporting development teams with robust, scalable, and secure data architectures.
The ideal candidate will bring a blend of hands-on T-SQL development , SSRS/SSIS reporting expertise .
Roles & Responsibilities:
Database Design & Development
Architect, develop, and optimize database objects such as stored procedures, functions, views, indexes, and triggers to support business and application needs.
Collaborate with application development teams to implement efficient data models and ensure seamless integration.
Design and manage ETL processes using SSIS to support data migration, integration, and warehousing initiatives.
Reporting & Data Delivery
Develop, enhance, and maintain SSRS reports and dashboards for various business functions.
Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical reporting solutions.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance in reporting layers.
Operational Support & Troubleshooting
Act as a senior escalation point for complex database-related issues in development and production environments.
Troubleshoot data-related problems and work closely with application teams to implement durable fixes.
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation , operational runbooks, and process standards.
Technical Skills
Skills Requirements:
Proficiency in SQL programming for relational databases such as SQL Server Understanding of relational database concepts such as ACID properties, transactions, and normalization. Familiarity with database design and optimization techniques such as indexing, partitioning, and query optimization. Experience with database administration tasks such as backup and recovery, performance tuning, and security management. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Must understand the company''s long-term vision and align with it. Should be open to new ideas and be willing to learn and develop new skills. Should also be able to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Qualifications
Education
Bachelors degree (BE/B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
5+ years of progressive experience as an MS SQL Developer with strong DBA responsibilities.
Proven track record of T-SQL development , optimization, and query performance tuning.
Strong experience with SSRS , SSIS , and SQL Server data tools.
Experience with data warehousing , BI tools, and data governance best practices is a plus.
Exposure to US mortgage domain is a plus.
