Job Description
Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for Storage, databases, applications, tools, networks, etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging, or designing of software applications or operating systems. Competent to be subject matter expert for complex, scalable and high performance microservice components in cloud storage tech stack. Work with architects to build new highly scalable storage and ultra performant solutions
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent to work with other subject matter experts of sub-components and lead designs discussions and reviews. Hand-in-glove with management and leadership in providing a technical perspective in making business decisions. Capable of liaison with key customers to have their storage and processing needs fully satisfied. Drives operational excellence within the organization.
ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
- Drives operational readiness and excellence of their product /service. Drives planning.
- Identifies and mitigates risks in their project and the architecture of their products.
- Implement new features and enhances existing ones, Review code written by peers
- Write test automation
- Share responsibility with other team members to deploy new code to production.
- Work with the team to operate services that host massive amounts of data
- Works with management and leadership in making business decisions
- Equally proficient in cloud operations and tooling.
- Leads deep dives into events during calls and in support of CAPA.
- Serves as primary point of contact for resolving complex operations issues.
- Develops new metrics and dashboards to improve situational awareness.
- Works independently with minimum directions
