Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct quality analysis of surgical procedures, including major surgeries such as cardiovascular, orthopedic, and neurosurgery.
  
• Review medical records to identify areas for improvement in patient care and outcomes.
  
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to implement changes based on findings from quality analyses.
  
• Develop and maintain documentation of quality metrics and reports for hospital administration.
  
• Participate in continuous professional development to stay updated on industry standards and best practices.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 4-6 years of experience as a Surgery Quality Analyst.
  
• Strong understanding of cardiology, cardiac surgery, major surgery, orthopedics, and neurosurgery specialties.
  
• Proficiency in ICD-10-CM/PCS coding system; knowledge of CPT codes an asset.
  
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data sets.
