Position: Senior Engineer / Asst Manager Costing (Civil)
Location: Bangalore (Syngene Project)
Experience: 58 years
Joining: Immediate joiners preferred (within 15 days)
Salary Range: As per Industry standards
Key Responsibilities
Lead cost management and bill verification for civil works under the Syngene project.
Review BOQs, POs, JMS, RA bills and validate against drawings, specifications, and contractual scope.
Conduct design vs BOQ checks within stipulated timelines and highlight discrepancies.
Manage stock reconciliation (document-based during RA cycles and physical verification at project handover).
Prepare and submit final reconciliation reports within 15 days of project handover.
Ensure compliance with contractual clauses, confidentiality obligations, and statutory requirements.
Coordinate with project engineers (MEP QS & Billing) and client stakeholders for smooth billing and closure.
Maintain audit-ready documentation and trackers for all cost verification activities.
Desired Profile
BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
6 to 8 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, Costing, Billing, and Contract Management.
Strong knowledge of QS processes, BOQ preparation, RA/JMS verification, and reconciliation.
Exposure to third-party bill verification/PMC roles preferred.
Excellent skills in MS Excel, cost trackers, and documentation.
Ability to work under tight timelines and deliver accurate, auditable outputs.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
