Job Description
A seasoned QA Automation Engineer who is passionate about building high-quality products, driving testing strategies, and contributing to a culture of technical excellence. If you love solving complex problems and ensuring flawless user experiences, you ll fit right in.
What you ll do
To be successful in this role, you should have - Work closely with the team to plan & strategize the testing process and deliver high-quality product
- Engage with seniors/customer/product managers to understand the requirements from a business/end-user perspective and test the product accordingly, ensuring all the acceptance criteria are met
- Provide good visibility into product quality along with Risks & Mitigation plan to stakeholders
- Thoroughly validate the product functionality through manual testing and Automation testing add tests to the regression bucket as the application scales
- Explore new testing tools and frameworks to recommend the right solution to solve business problems.
- Qualification: BE/BTech in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Experience: 6+ years in QA (manual + automation).
Skills
Good to Have: - Strong experience in testing web-based applications, including Test Planning and Test Strategies.
- Hands-on experience with API Testing.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright Automation Framework using JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of Functional & Non-Functional Coverage and Risk Forecasting.
- Working knowledge of Databases (SQL, MongoDB, etc.).
- Good experience with Test Management, Defect Tracking, and Configuration Management tools.
- Hands-on experience in both Manual and Automation Testing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exposure to Unix Shell Scripting, Build Deployment, and Continuous Integration.
- Experience working with Cloud platforms.
