Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Big Data Tester with strong expertise in Azure cloud technologies and Automation Testing frameworks . The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating large-scale data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and automating test cases in a cloud-native environment. The role requires hands-on experience in testing data ingestion, transformation, and processing using big data tools and cloud services, particularly within Microsoft Azure. Essential functions
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for big data applications and pipelines.
- Perform data validation and data quality checks on structured and unstructured data from various sources.
- Test ETL processes , data lakes, and data warehouses built using Azure services such as Azure Data Factory (ADF) , Azure Synapse , Databricks , Data Lakes, Blob Storage , etc.
- Build and maintain automated test scripts using tools like PyTest .
- Create and maintain test data for various testing scenarios.
- Develop SQL and Spark queries to validate data across multiple stages of the pipeline.
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify, log, and track bugs and performance issues, and work with development teams to resolve them.
- Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure test coverage and quality.
- Provide test reports , metrics, and documentation.

AQA Engineer
Cloud services: Azure: ADF, Databricks, ADLS gen 2, Synapse, Pureview
Orchestration: Apache Airflow
Programming skills: Python, SQL
