SAP Techno-Functional Consultant (BRIM) - Finance Transformation Revenue Optimization

Role Overview We are seeking a SAP Techno-Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SAP BRIM and a broad understanding of cross-system integrations, to support a large-scale Finance Transformation program. The consultant will analyze the existing SAP implementation, identify process gaps, and collaborate closely with Data AI teams to minimize revenue leakage, increase customer charge accuracy, strengthen billing collection processes, and maximize revenue realization. Key Responsibilities :
Analyze the current SAP landscape, billing processes, and integration points to identify inefficiencies, data gaps, and revenue leakage points.
Act as a domain expert to guide Data, Analytics, and AI teams in:
o Charge reconstruction rating validation
o Leakage identification and remediation
o Predictive billing proactive collection strategies
Provide techno-functional leadership across SAP BRIM components including:
o Convergent Charging (CC)
o Convergent Invoicing (CI/FICA)
o Subscription Billing
o Revenue Accounting Reporting (RAR)
Translate business and Finance objectives into actionable SAP configuration and enhancement changes.
Develop and review functional specifications, integration architecture, and data mapping rules to support AI/ML-driven insights.
Collaborate with Business, Order Management, Network Operations, CRM, and Payment Systems teams to optimize Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) flows.
Support testing strategies including SIT, UAT, data validation, revenue reconciliations, and go-live stabilization.
Provide advisory on billing governance, collections strategies, dispute management, and exception handling.
Produce high-quality documentation and provide training to Finance and Billing Operations teams. Required Skills Competencies Area Required Experience
SAP BRIM Expertise Strong working knowledge across CC, CI/FICA, Subscription Billing, RAR
Financial Transformation Experience supporting CFO or Billing Ops teams in reducing revenue leakage
Data Analytics Alignment Ability to define data structures, business rules, leakage checkpoints
Techno-Functional Skills ABAP debugging, BAPIs/BADIs, IDocs, integration (CPI/PI/PO, REST/SOAP)
Revenue Cycle Knowledge O2C, rating, billing, invoicing, payments, dunning, collections
Cross-Team Collaboration Skilled in working across Business, Finance, Data, and AI groups Preferred Experience
Telecom billing and charging models (usage + recurring + hybrid).
Experience in large S/4HANA Finance / Billing modernizations.
Prior involvement in Revenue Reconciliation, Billing Assurance, or Fraud/Leakage Programs.
Understanding of ML-driven revenue assurance, customer segmentation, predictive collections. Education Certification
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, or related.
SAP BRIM / S/4HANA / Integration certifications preferred. Success Indicators
