Senior Bigdata engineer @ Grid Dynamics

Essential functions

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience overall and 2+ years experience in Data Engineering roles.

• Extensive experience with the Hadoop ecosystem and Spark (batch and streaming processing).

• Experience in cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP ..)

• SQL skills for complex data manipulation and querying.

• Strong programming background in Java and/or Scala.

• Proficiency in at least one scripting language, with a preference for Python.

• Desire and ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies

• Ability to proactively identify and solve engineering problems

• Good interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written

• Design, build, and optimize robust data pipelines using big data technologies.

• Implement and manage data solutions on cloud platforms.

• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance.
