Job Title: Sales Specialist CAD/CAM (NX)

Experience: 3-5 Years
Location: Delhi.
Function: Sales / Business Development Engineering Software

Role Summary

The Sales Specialist CAD/CAM (NX) will be responsible for driving sales of Siemens NX CAD and CAM solutions across manufacturing, engineering, and product development organizations. The role requires a strong understanding of design and manufacturing workflows, customer engagement, solution selling, and collaboration with presales and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Drive license, subscription, and services revenue for NX CAD / NX CAM portfolio.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, industrial machinery, and engineering companies.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle: lead qualification, requirement discovery, demos, proposal, negotiation, and closure.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.

Customer Engagement & Solution Selling

  • Engage with design engineers, manufacturing engineers, CAM programmers, plant heads, and engineering managers.
  • Understand customer pain points in design, machining, and manufacturing processes.
  • Position NX CAD/CAM value propositions against competitive tools.
  • Conduct solution presentations with support from presales/application teams.

Account Management

  • Manage existing customer accounts for renewals, upgrades, cross-sell, and upsell.
  • Build long-term relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify expansion opportunities within assigned accounts.

Collaboration & Presales Support

  • Work closely with presales, application engineers, and delivery teams.
  • Support POCs, demos, workshops, and technical evaluations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for pricing, contracts, and order processing.

Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Track market trends in CAD/CAM and digital manufacturing.
  • Understand competitive products and positioning.
  • Provide market feedback to marketing and leadership teams.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in sales or presales of CAD/CAM solutions.
  • Hands-on or strong functional knowledge of Siemens NX CAD & NX CAM.
  • Understanding of manufacturing workflows: 2.5D / 3-axis / 5-axis machining, toolpath strategies, CNC programming, post-processing.
  • Experience selling engineering software licenses, subscriptions, or services.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering.
  • MBA or sales certification is an advantage.
