Core Java Developer (Senior) @ Infogain

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer with hands-on experience in Kotlin and Java, along with strong expertise in AWS cloud services and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable backend services and microservices that power modern cloud-native applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and microservices using Kotlin and Java

Build RESTful APIs and backend logic to support high-traffic web and mobile applications

Deploy and manage applications on AWS using services like EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, etc.

Containerize and orchestrate services using Docker and Kubernetes (K8s)

Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for backend services

Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of backend systems

Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of processes

Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers

Required Skills:

Strong programming experience with Kotlin and Java

In-depth knowledge of building and maintaining RESTful APIs

Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.)

Solid understanding of Kubernetes (K8s) for container orchestration

Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines

Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, etc.)

Good understanding of software engineering best practices and design patterns

Preferred Skills:

Experience with reactive programming and frameworks like Spring Boot / Ktor

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation

Experience in event-driven architectures (Kafka, SNS/SQS)

Knowledge of secure coding practices and application monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
