Job Description
Role Overview:
We are looking for a versatile Full-stack Engineer capable of working across multiple technology stacks and layers as required by the project. The ideal candidate will be agile in adopting new technologies and proficient in building scalable, high-quality applications while leveraging cutting-edge GEN AI tools to maximize productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- 7 to 10 years of professional experience in full-stack software development, demonstrating versatility across multiple technical stacks and layers.
- Develop and maintain software across the full stack, primarily using Python (70%) and Typescript/Javascript (30%), with occasional exposure to Java and custom stacks such as Microsoft CoPilot Studio.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of data pipelines, ensuring efficient data flow and integration.
- Participate actively in front-end development, demonstrating strong hands-on experience, though not necessarily as a subject matter expert.
- Drive test and quality engineering efforts, owning deliverables related to application quality, automated testing, and regression.
- Understand and apply DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices to enable enterprise-grade app deployment and production readiness.
- Collaborate on system and feature design, demonstrating excellent design sense and working independently with minimal guidance from leads.
- Lead and oversee the delivery of small scrum teams (4-5 engineers), including scrum master responsibilities such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in Python, Typescript/Javascript, and familiarity with Java or alternative tech stacks.
- Experience with front-end frameworks and real-world front-end development practices.
- Strong ability to leverage GENERATIVE AI tools for enhancing development productivity.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with software testing, quality assurance, and test automation.
- Knowledge of DevOps/SRE principles, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and cloud-native application delivery.
- Proven experience in system design, architecture, and scalable application development.
- Experience leading and managing small Agile scrum teams, including implementing scrum ceremonies and processes.
- Ability to mentor and provide technical leadership within teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Microsoft CoPilot).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous learning.
