Cloud Native App Developer (Senior) @ Infogain

Job Description:

The Crew Manager team is focused on developing and maintaining the CrewManager Application that manages the Crew (Cockpit and Cabin Crew). The team is looking for a Senior Software Developer, who will support development of new feature/functions including rewriting small parts of the system, improving system quality/stability to regular maintenance tasks. Applies advanced skills and concepts to oversee large, complex projects. Has excellent understanding of business application. Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them. Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. Demonstrates broad knowledge of technical solutions. Designs and codes complex applications using advanced technology. May create optimization programs to resolve problems. May design and build prototype applications. May oversee product development.

Job Requirement:

1. 4 to 5 years of experience in Java/J2EE

2. Highly proficient in Core Java and J2EE technologies

3. Software Architecture and Design

4. Problem Solving Capabilities

5. Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Branching & Merging in Team

6. Collaborates with technical leaders/architects/developers

7. Complete Understanding of relational databases and noSQL databases. Relational DB (Oracle, MySQL) and no sql (Mongo)

8. Experience in XML, Apache Camel and Tomcat

9. Do in-depth vast systems diagnostics and thorough root cause analysis

10. Needs to adopt to new technology, practices and master the same

11. Develops utilities/tools and automate data/result processing and analysis

12. Experience with profilers, debuggers, Logging Framework (log4Net)

13. Code Quality & Metrics

14. Should be able to work with the team and guide them with resolving the problems

15. Java 8+ knowledge is needed.

16. Spring Framework 5

17. Version control systems - GIT

18. Have knowledge/experience on Test driven development (TDD) - Junit4+, Mockitos

19. Hands on Experience on Soap based and Restful services.

20. Strong knowledge on Object Oriented Paradigms

21. Experience in Working with Cloud - AWS preferred

22. ORM framework - Hibernate

23. Should be able to deliver the task independently and help the team to deliver

Behavioral/Good to Have Skills:

1. Understanding of Airline domain is an added advantage

2. Should be able to demonstrate Good Communication and Interpersonal skills.

3. Should be able to take initiatives and proactiveness in leaning new technologies
