Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to drive end-to-end quality assurance for our applications. The ideal candidate will lead a team of testers, define test strategies, create test plans, and ensure high-quality deliverables across all releases
Roles and responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers (manual & automation).
- Define comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on business and technical requirements.
- Drive functional, regression, integration, API, UI, and performance testing
- Develop, maintain, and optimize automation frameworks (if applicable).
- Ensure proper defect tracking, prioritization, and closure through tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and Business Analysts to ensure clarity of requirements and smooth release cycles.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 9+ years of experience in Software Testing, with at least 2-4 years in a Lead role.
- Strong experience in test planning, execution, and QA process management.
- Hands-on expertise in Automation Testing
- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect management.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong knowledge of tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Postman, Selenium, API tools, etc
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of API testing (RestAssured, Postman, Karate, or similar) to validate mobile backend services.
- Knowledge of mobile security testing and compliance best practices.
- Experience with mobile performance testing & monitoring (Firebase Performance, Crashlytics, Xcode Instruments, Android Profiler).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for mobile app deployments.
