Job Description
- Design the Target Architecture using AWS Native Services per the requirements for both Non-PROD and PROD/DR Environments.
- Understand existing Airflow-Astronomer implementation & design target reference architecture.
- Comprehend the license requirements for the implementation in AWS Cloud & Migration.
- Use AWS License Manager, AWS Migration Evaluator, and third-party tools (e.g., Flexera, ServiceNow) to automate discovery and license tracking.
Evaluate licensing models (e.g., BYOL, SPLA, subscription) for compatibility with AWS.
- Gather non-functional requirements based on the current platform.
- Ensure that all systems adhere to stringent internal client security policies and meet regulatory requirements using AWS Native Security Services.
- Have an excellent understanding of AWS EKS deployments & configurations.
- Provisioning of AWS infrastructure using Terraform
- Ability to configure optimal monitoring & alerts on AWS Hosted Airflow Setup.
- Understand the integration of AWS services & Airflow Deployments.
- Good understanding of AWS VPC Endpoints configuration
- Continuously optimize system performance and resource utilization.
- Propose Backup, DR solutions per the RTO/RPO requirements and perform DR Setup and DR failover Testing.
- Design and implement automated infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform.
- Have a good understanding of AWS IAM, Role, Policies & Federated Access.
- Possess knowledge of Postgres SQL RDS & DB Migration techniques, including using AWS DMS & SCM.
