Job summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with expertise in Java 8+, Angular15+, Spring Boot, WebFlux and Microservices. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 12 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. This role involves working on cutting-edge projects that impact our global operations and contribute to our mission of leveraging technology for societal benefit.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using Java 8+, Angular, Spring Boot, WebFlux, Microservices, JPA, SQL, TDD, Unit testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and efficient solutions.
- Provide technical expertise in the development of data processing and visualization tools.
- Ensure the integration of applications with existing systems and databases.
- Oversee the performance optimisation and troubleshooting of web applications.
- Implement best practices for code quality testing and deployment of applications.
- Lead the development of new features and enhancements for geospatial applications.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in development.
- Participate in the planning and execution of project roadmaps and timelines.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers in the team.
- Possess good communication skills.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in application development.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Possess a strong background with hands-on in Java 8+, Angular, Spring Boot, WebFlux, Microservices, JPA, SQL, TDD, Unit testing.
- Exhibit proficiency in data processing and visualization tools.
- Show expertise in integrating applications with existing systems.
- Have a track record of optimising and troubleshooting application performance.
- Display knowledge of best practices in code quality testing and deployment.
- Experience in leading development projects and mentoring junior developers.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in development.
