Job Description

This role is for a highly experienced and strategic Learning & Development (L&D) Manager to drive skill transformation and continuous professional growth within a fast-paced, global IT services environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background of 6+ years in developing and implementing scalable, data-driven learning solutions, with a keen focus on emerging technologies, product training, and proactive business reporting.

Core Responsibilities

1. Strategic Program Design & Implementation

  • Product & Process Training Expertise: Lead the design and delivery of comprehensive Product Training programs for new hires and existing teams, ensuring a high level of operational readiness before go-live.
  • Needs Analysis & Assessment: Conduct periodic Training Needs Identification (TNI) and Training Needs Analysis (TNA) across the Business Unit to proactively identify current and future skill deficits impacting performance.
  • Curriculum Development: Design, develop, and implement end-to-end learning programs, including blended, virtual instructor-led training (VILT), and experiential learning pathways, aligned with organizational competency frameworks.
  • Client Collaboration & Content Creation: Create new training content in direct partnership with client Points of Contact (POCs) to ensure program alignment with client-specific processes, quality standards, and service level agreements (SLAs).

2. Performance Improvement & Operational Partnership

  • Business Partnership with Operations (Ops): Establish a strong Bi-directional Partnership with Operations leadership to link learning strategies directly to key operational metrics (e.g., quality scores, throughput, customer satisfaction).
  • Refresher Sessions Management: Schedule, design, and execute Refresher Sessions based on performance trends, audit findings, and operational changes to maintain high skill proficiency.
  • Bottom Performer Upskilling: Design, curate, and implement targeted upskilling plans for Bottom Performers based on granular performance inputs received from Ops managers, TNA results, and quality audits. This includes focused coaching and remediation strategies.

3. Proactive Reporting, Analytics & Evaluation

  • TNI/TNA Reporting: Develop and deliver insightful reports based on TNI/TNA findings that clearly outline the critical skill gaps, associated business risks, and proposed learning interventions to senior management.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Develop and deliver proactive, executive-level reports (monthly/quarterly) on L&D metrics, moving beyond completion rates to focus on business impact and Return on Investment (ROI).
  • Effectiveness Reporting: Implement and report on training effectiveness metrics (e.g., Kirkpatrick levels) and clearly articulate how L&D initiatives are contributing to key business outcomes.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in a dedicated L&D role, preferably within a large, global IT Services or Consulting organization.
  • Product Training Experience: Proven experience in developing and deploying complex Product Training programs within a fast-paced environment.
  • TNA/TNI Expertise: Demonstrable expertise in conducting formal Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and Identification (TNI) and translating findings into actionable learning reports and programs.
  • Performance Management: Experience working closely with Operations/Business leadership on performance management, including designing targeted interventions for bottom performers.
  • Content Creation Tools Proficiency: Demonstrated hands-on expertise with key modern content creation and authoring tools, including:

Visual Design: Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (or similar tools) for creating engaging infographics, articles, job aids, and presentations.

Authoring Tools: Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar tools for developing interactive e-learning modules.

LMS/LXP: Strong working knowledge of major Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Learning Experience Platforms (LXP) for content deployment and tracking.
