Job Description
Experience: 2-8 years Job Description: The Sourcing Lead Imports/Exotic Fruits & Vegetables will be responsible for driving daily and weekly sourcing operations by identifying, developing, and managing partnerships with key importers, suppliers, and traders. The role ensures consistent availability, quality, and cost optimization of imported and premium F&V categories. The candidate will also track market trends, import dynamics, and pricing movements to make informed sourcing decisions and support business growth.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end sourcing for Imported and Exotic Fruits & Vegetables.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with importers, suppliers, and logistics partners.
- Monitor international and domestic markets to identify pricing trends and demand opportunities.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and supply schedules to ensure margin and quality targets are met.
- Collaborate with internal planning, quality, and operations teams to ensure smooth supply execution.
- Maintain supplier performance records and drive continuous improvement in quality and reliability.
- Track import regulations, documentation requirements, and customs processes to ensure compliance.
Requirements:
- 28 years of experience in sourcing Imported/Premium Fruits & Vegetables or similar categories.
- Strong knowledge of F&V procurement processes, import documentation, and global sourcing trends.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and supplier management skills.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of perishables supply chain and quality parameters.
