Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team as a Technical Lead where you will leverage your expertise in CICS VSAM IT Service Management JCL DB2 and Cobol to drive impactful solutions. Your contributions will directly support our mission to innovate and improve technology solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of robust technical solutions using CICS VSAM and Cobol to meet business requirements.
- Oversee the maintenance and optimization of existing systems ensuring high availability and performance.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Collaborate with IT Service Management teams to streamline processes and enhance service delivery.
- Develop and execute JCL scripts to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Analyze and resolve complex technical issues minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless system operations.
- Coordinate with DB2 database administrators to optimize data storage and retrieval processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in all technical implementations.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance code quality and maintainability.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Monitor system performance and implement enhancements to improve user experience and satisfaction.
- Document technical processes and procedures to support knowledge sharing and team development.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development methodologies and practices.
Qualifications:
- Possess a strong background in CICS VSAM and Cobol with proven experience in technical leadership roles.
- Demonstrate expertise in IT Service Management and JCL with a focus on process optimization.
- Exhibit proficiency in DB2 database management and performance tuning.
- Showcase excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
