About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to spearhead our growth in the Mumbai region. This role is pivotal in hunting for new logos, building a strong territory, and driving revenue by selling Datamatics' comprehensive IT & Digital Offerings. The ideal candidate will be a strategic hunter with an established network, deep industry knowledge, and a proven track record of closing complex deals in the BFSI and Manufacturing sectors.


Key Responsibilities

  • New Business Development & Hunting: Aggressively hunt for and acquire new logos/clients, with a major focus on Must-Have Accounts (MHAs). Build and manage a robust sales territory from the ground up.
  • Strategic Selling: Leverage an existing network of industry contacts within the BFSI and Manufacturing verticals to generate new business opportunities.
  • End-to-End Sales Cycle Management: Drive the entire sales process from initial prospecting and networking, through presentations and negotiations, to final closure and persistent follow-ups.
  • Market Intelligence: Maintain an in-depth understanding of market trends, the competitive landscape, and Datamatics' offerings to effectively articulate our unique value proposition.
  • Client Relationship & Needs Analysis: Understand the customer's buying cycle, map their diverse needs, and align them with Datamatics' business strengths to create compelling solutions.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a sales team to achieve collective and individual targets.
  • Target Driven Performance: Consistently achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and quotas.
  • Strategic Contribution: Contribute to the overall sales growth strategy, providing insights and plans to expand market share.

Qualifications & Desired Skills

  • Experience: A minimum of 8 years of sales experience in the IT services/consulting domain.
  • Services Sales Expertise:
  • Proven track record in selling Business Process Management (BPM) solutions with a strong understanding of underlying technologies.
  • Solid understanding of BFSI processes and how to position Digital Transformation and Process Automation solutions.
  • Vertical Experience: Demonstrable experience and success in selling to Banking, Insurance, and Manufacturing (Mfg) verticals.
  • Geographical Expertise: Must have operated in the Mumbai region for the past 3 years, with an established presence and understanding of the local market dynamics.
  • Networking: Strong, existing connections and a robust network of key decision-makers within the BFSI sector in Mumbai.

Skills: Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and communication skills. A hunter mentality with the ability to build a territory and close new business.
