Job Description:
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of Oracle EDMCS, including its various features and functionalities.
- Functional Knowledge: Familiarity with data governance principles and best practices.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Leadership: Ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Project Management: Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Consulting: Ability to advise and influence stakeholders on technical solutions.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of Data Types: Understanding of different data types and how they are used in EDMCS.
- Migration: Experience with migrating EDMCS environments.
- Key areas of focus:
- Applications, Dimensions, Node Types, Node Sets: Understanding how these components work within EDMCS to manage data hierarchies and relationships.
- Hierarchy Sets, Views, and Viewpoints: Ability to define and manage the structure and presentation of data within EDMCS.
- Access Controls: Managing user access and permissions within EDMCS.
- Reporting: Creating and managing reports for data analysis and monitoring.
- Subscriptions and Converters: Understanding how to manage subscriptions and data conversions within EDMCS.
- Validations, Policies, and Audits: Ensuring data quality and compliance through validations, policies, and audit trails.
- Integrations: Connecting EDMCS with other systems through EPM connect or other methods.
