Job Description:
The Virtual Front Desk Coordinator (VFD) serves as the first point of contact for patients and staff, playing a vital role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for everyone. This position involves virtually greeting patients, managing check-ins, handling digital intake and ID
capture, answering phones, scheduling appointments, explaining insurance benefits, collecting patient balances i.e. co-pays and any over the counter (OTC) money due, and maintaining accurate records. The VFD will also complete administrative tasks and generate reports as
needed.
A successful candidate will possess a caring, professional demeanor, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to resolve patient and staff inquiries efficiently while demonstrating excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Virtually greet patients and potential patients with a warm, professional

Answer questions regarding the clinic's services and processes.
Support patients and staff by providing accurate information and guidance.
Perform digital intake and ID capture for new and returning patients.
Check patients in and manage appointment schedules across EMR systems.
Explain insurance benefits and collect patient balances.

Exhibit excellent customer service skills while multitasking in a fast-paced
environment.
Handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and empathy.
