Role Purpose

The Manager Human Resources will be responsible for heading the HR function and managing end-to-end HR operations across Auramah Valley and associated group entities. The role will focus on recruitment, performance management, employee relations, statutory compliance, training, compensation & benefits, and HR operations, while supporting leadership in building a productive, compliant, and engaged workforce.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong execution capability, discretion, and the ability to work closely with senior management and departmental heads.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Talent Management

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for corporate, site, hospitality, sales, and operational roles.
  • Partner with department heads to understand manpower requirements, hiring priorities, and workforce plans.
  • Manage sourcing through direct hiring, job portals, and selective consultants in a cost-optimised manner.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding, joining formalities, and structured induction of new employees.

2. HR Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including attendance, leave management, payroll coordination, and employee records.
  • Maintain and update employee databases, personnel files, and HRMIS with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Prepare and present HR reports, dashboards, and MIS for management review.

3. Performance Management System (PMS)

  • Drive implementation and administration of the Performance Management System, including goal setting, KRAs, reviews, and appraisals.
  • Coordinate performance review cycles and ensure timely and fair completion across departments.
  • Support performance improvement plans and employee development initiatives.

4. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee queries, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
  • Promote a positive, disciplined, and professional work culture aligned with organisational values.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and assist in conflict resolution while ensuring fair HR practices.

5. Compensation & Benefits (C&B)

  • Manage and support salary structuring, increments, incentives, and benefits administration in line with budgets and policies.
  • Coordinate payroll processing to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and statutory compliance.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of compensation and employee information at all times.

6. Training & Development

  • Identify training and development needs in consultation with functional heads.
  • Plan and coordinate internal and external training programs, workshops, and skill development initiatives.
  • Track training effectiveness and maintain training records and learning MIS.

7. Statutory Compliance & Legal

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory requirements, including PF, ESIC, Shops & Establishment, Contract Labour, etc.
  • Maintain statutory registers, returns, records, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with external consultants, auditors, and labour authorities as required.

8. HR Policies & Process Improvement

  • Implement and monitor HR policies, SOPs, and best practices across group entities and locations.
  • Support internal and external audits and drive continuous improvement of HR processes.
  • Ensure uniformity and consistency in HR practices across businesses and locations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
  • 610 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in hospitality, real estate, construction, or diversified group environments.
  • Strong hands-on exposure to recruitment, HR operations, PMS, C&B, and statutory compliance.
