Job Description Cloud Operations Engineer
Primary skill: Windows Cloud server
Secondary Skill: AWS;SQL DBA
Role Overview We are looking for a Cloud Operations Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure and Windows administration to support production environments and BAU activities. The role is part of a 24x7 delivery setup and requires flexibility for planned and ad-hoc out-of-hours support.Mandatory Skills Microsoft Azureo VM management; monitoring; backups; patchingo Networking basics (VNET; NSG; Load Balancer knowledge)o Azure Monitor / Log Analytics alerts handling Windows Administrationo Server troubleshootingo Performance monitoring (CPU; memory; disk)o Patching & reboot schedulingo Services and application supportGood-to-Have / Desired Skills AWS exposure EC2 basics; monitoring; operations support Database knowledgeo Basic SQL understandingo Connectivity and performance issue triageOperational Responsibilities 24x7 BAU operations support Incident & alert handling (PagerDuty / ITSM tools) Root cause analysis and follow-up remediation Change implementation and validation Coordination with L3 and platform teams Participation in planned off-hours deployments/releases (typically once per month)Behavioral & Soft Skills Strong ownership mindset Comfortable with on-call and production support responsibilities Good communication with technical and business stakeholders Ability to work independently and escalate appropriatelyExperience 36 years of experience in infrastructure / cloud operations Direct production support experience preferred
