Designation: IT Infra Support
Office Location: Chennai
Role Overview:The IT Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organizations IT infrastructure. This includes managing networking systems, endpoint devices, Active Directory (AD), and server environments to ensure high availability, security, and scalability. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver robust IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the planning, deployment, and maintenance of IT infrastructure including servers, storage, and virtualization platforms.
- Networking:
- Manage LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and network security protocols to ensure reliable connectivity and data protection.
- Endpoint Management:
- Implement and maintain endpoint security solutions, patch management, and device compliance across the organization.
- Active Directory & Identity Management:
- Administer AD, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and user access controls to maintain secure and efficient identity management.
- Server Management:
- Ensure optimal performance of Windows/Linux servers, including monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery planning.
- Security & Compliance:
- Enforce IT security standards, monitor vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination:
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers; collaborate with internal teams for IT projects.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor IT support and infrastructure teams, ensuring skill development and performance excellence.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in:
- Networking (LAN/WAN, Firewalls, VPNs)
- Endpoint Management tools (SCCM, Intune, etc.)
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
- Windows/Linux Server Administration
- Knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- CCNA/CCNP
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server or Azure Administrator
- ITIL Foundation
