Job Description
AstroVed is looking for a Unity Developer (Augmented Reality) to work on exciting AR-based projects.The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Unity and a strong interest in building immersive AR applications. This role offers an opportunity to work on innovative, real-world AR solutions in a collaborative environment.
Role Overview
You will build the core interaction systems for our spiritual experiences such as avatar responses, ritual flows, temple navigation, and simple AI-driven interactions.
This is not a game. This is a new form of digital presence and ritual interaction.
Responsibilities
- Build interactive scenes in Unity
- Implement avatar-based interaction logic
- Create trigger-based responses (e.g., user input avatar action)
- Integrate voice/text input systems
- Optimize scenes for mobile devices
- Collaborate with 3D artists and designers
- Create reusable interaction components
- Debug and test builds
Required Skills
- Strong fundamentals in Unity
- C# scripting
- Scene setup, prefabs, UI integration
- Understanding of event-driven logic
- Basic mobile optimization awareness
Nice to Have
- Exposure to ARCore, ARKit, or Vuforia
- Interest in immersive or meditation apps
- Experience with simple APIs
