Job Description
- Ability to pick up new data tools and concepts quickly
- Passionate about complex data structures and problem solving
- High attention to detail
- Experience in working in an Agile environment
- Organizational skills: time management and planning
- SQL knowledge (query performance tuning, index maintenance, etc) as well as an understanding of database structure
- Knowledge of data modeling principles and experience with dimension data modelling
- Good understanding of programming knowledge like Java/.Net is a bonus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure & Microsoft Power BI would be an advantage
- Knowledge if ETL tools like Pentaho would be an added advantage
Job Role/ Your future duties and responsibilities
- Gather requirements and business process knowledge to transform the data in a way that's geared towards the needs of end users
- Create universes and reports as per business needs
- Collaborate with functional SMEs and create designs
- Create reports and dashboards interactive with end users
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Maintain and improve already existing processes
- Ensure that the data architecture is scalable and maintainable
- Work with businesses in designing and delivering correct, high-quality data
- Prepare documentation for further reference
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- 3-4 years of experience in SAP Business Objects
- Experience on CMC, WebI, Universe Design Tool, Information Design Tool, BI launch pad, BO administration
- Hands on experience in Writing Complex SQL Queries
- Creating reports using Webi Intelligence tools
- Team player
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
