Job Description

The job

The IT Hardware Analyst will be responsible for fulfilling Hardware requests for AVEVA staff. This will include purchasing from suppliers and engaging with internal customers where required, ensuring compliance with IT Service Management and Asset Management processes and procurement policies.

Key responsibilities

Reviewing end user Hardware requests and ensuring they are compliant with the Hardware Policy.
Obtaining and Negotiating quotes from Suppliers all over the world.
Creating Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Goods Receipt Notifications on the ERP system.
Updating the ITSM ticket system and ensuring the requester is kept informed on progress.
Managing escalations with support from End User Services colleagues.
Resolving invoice disputes with Suppliers.

Essential requirements

Excellent English communication skills speaking and writing.
2+ years within a similar role e.g. Procurement/Vendor Management/End User Services.
Ability to quickly understand and follow processes.

Desired skills

Experience with ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow, JIRA, BMC Helix etc)
Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP etc)
