Role & responsibilities
- Develop, test, and implement SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW components).
- Work on complex ABAP developments including module pool programming, smart forms, and ALV reports.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform debugging and performance tuning to ensure optimized system performance.
- Implement SAP enhancements and user exits as per business needs.
- Ensure compliance with SAP coding standards and best practices.
- Provide technical support during implementation, testing, and post-production phases.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure quality delivery within project timelines.
Preferred candidate profile
- Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP Development.
- Strong understanding of SAP modules and their integration points.
- Experience with RICEFW objects, OOABAP, and OData services.
- Exposure to SAP HANA environment and related ABAP enhancements preferred.
- Good communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Education: B.Tech / B.E. (Any Specialization) with 15 years of full-time education.
- Location preference: Mumbai / Pune / Bangalore (willing to relocate if required).
