Role & responsibilities
Position: Illustrator
Experience: 4 to 8 years in visual design/illustration, ideally in e-learning or digital media
Location: All Deloitte USI locations
Education: Bachelors in Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field
Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing relevant design and illustration work
Key Skills
Technical Proficiency
- Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Animate)
- Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, AI-based tools (Firefly, Express, Canva), and generative art platforms
- Knowledge of 3D tools like Blender or Unreal Engine is a plus
Design Expertise
- Skilled in digital illustration, UI/UX, branding, motion graphics
- Strong grasp of typography, color theory, composition, and visual hierarchy
- Ability to create scalable vector graphics for various formats
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration
- Self-driven, adaptable, organized, and eager to learn
Additional Assets
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Experience with AR/VR, gamification, or interactive learning is a bonus
Role Responsibilities
Visual Storytelling & Illustration
- Create original graphics for e-learning, infographics, animations, and marketing
- Develop visual narratives to simplify complex ideas
- Support storyboarding and prototyping
UI & Digital Experience Design
- Design user-friendly interfaces for web/mobile platforms
- Apply inclusive, user-centered design principles
Branding & Visual Identity
- Maintain brand consistency across assets
- Ensure high-quality visual standards globally
Collaboration & Communication
- Partner with instructional designers, developers, and PMs
- Present and refine design concepts based on feedback
Trend Awareness & Innovation
- Stay updated on design trends and emerging tech (AI, AR/VR)
- Explore new tools and techniques to enhance creativity
Quality & Process
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery
- Manage multiple projects and maintain organized asset libraries
