Job Summary
The tier 3 network engineer will perform pro-active work within the environment to maintain best practices and keep a steady state. The engineer will be responsible for maintaining standards and best practices for network systems. The engineer will serve as an escalation point for Operations and NOC within the support team for network systems. This will include troubleshooting and resolution of re-active incidents as well as root cause determination analysis for customer incidents and problem management. The engineer must possess a high technical aptitude and be able to logically step through a problem even when dealing with unfamiliar environments and products. The engineer will be available for escalations during and after regular business hours. They will communicate with client services and customers as needed regarding incidents and changes. The network engineer must be able to communicate well in written and verbal forms.
