Role - ELP Trainer


Role Overview

We are looking for a qualified ELP Trainer who will be responsible for conducting Aviation English Language Proficiency (ELP) training and assessments, while also managing associated ground school administration and regulatory compliance activities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective communication, clear role allocation, and mentorship to enhance employee growth and engagement.
  • Conduct annual recurrent, ab-initio, and Train-the-Trainer programs along with examiner trainings as per CAR requirements.
  • Design new curriculum and create training content for online/offline delivery, including 30-hour Aviation English training for ab-initio candidates.
  • Develop and update assessment test papers regularly, adding new items monthly to minimize collusion.
  • Carry out timely assessments and evaluations for internal and external pilots, ensuring ELP ratings remain current.
  • Upload results to the EGCA portal, maintain training/assessment records, and archive ELP recordings on the company server per CAR guidelines.
  • Compile and submit monthly assessment/training reports, publish ELP assessment calendars, and send regular intimations to DTL and DGCA.
  • Track revenue generated from external assessments/trainings, with curriculum and test material development supporting organizational growth.
  • Planning and execution of B737 and DHC-8-402 ATRP Training of Flight Crew.
  • Planning and execution of B737 AGTR Trainings of Flight Crew.
  • Planning of Recurrent Training B737 and DHC-8-402 AVSEC (Initial AVSEC) training of Flight Crew.
  • Coordinating with all type of training Like- Command upgrade, OCC, Extended AGTR etc.
  • Allocation of training to various contracted Ground Training as per feasibility and crew availability with minimum cost expenditure.
  • Planning of B737 and DHC-8-402 Door/Drills and DGR training of Flight Crew.

Educational Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in English OR
  • Bachelors Degree in English with a Graduate Diploma in TESL / TESOL from a recognized institute

Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in Aviation English, English for Specific Purposes (ESP), or TEFL/TESL programs
  • Strong working knowledge of ICAO Language Proficiency Requirements and ICAO Doc 9835 (Rated Speech Samples)
