Field Engineer - Wireless Network L2 @ Orange Business

Job Description

Job Summary:

• Strong technical skills in installation, configuration, and management of network and wireless devices.
• Good knowledge of LAN routing and switching concepts.
• Ability to troubleshoot and support complex issues across LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments.

Role description:

• Participate in design, deployment, and implementation of wireless and wired network infrastructure.
• Perform wireless site surveys (pre/post deployment) and recommend optimal AP placement and RF design.
• Configure and deploy Aruba Wireless Access Points and Wireless LAN Controllers; experience with Cisco Wireless Controllers is an added advantage.
• Design and implement secure network access using Aruba ClearPass; experience with Aruba Central is an added advantage.
• Understanding of authentication methods of 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, different EAP-methods, PKI.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting: roaming, sticky clients, Flapping issue, DHCP/DNS issues, 802.1X.
• Should have good knowledge of LAN routing and switching.
• Good knowledge in understanding and preparing HLD/LLD for new infrastructure, customize network, and proficient with MS Visio tool for preparing network architecture.
• Maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.

• Hands-on experience with Aruba Central
• Experience in multi-vendor wireless environments
• Exposure to large-scale enterprise or campus networks
