Job Description
Job Title: Project Planning Engineer
Department: Project
Qualification-BE/B.tech Or Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical (MBA would be an added advantage)
Salary: 20-30 K Inhand
Work Experience: 1-4 Yrs.
Notice Period-Immediate-15 Days
Job Location: -Kothrud Corporate office Pune
- Coordinate with clients after receipt of Purchase Order(PO) to understand project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Act as a single point of contact between client and internal departments such as design, procurement, production, quality, and dispatch.
- Review PO, technical specifications, drawings, and contractual requirements for clarity and compliance.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project.
- Perform project planning, activity sequencing, and resource allocation. Monitor project progress against approved schedules and identify deviations.
- Prepare project planning and scheduling reports for management review.
- Coordinate approval documentation including GA drawings, datasheets, QAP, and technical submissions.
- Follow up with clients for timely approvals and closure of technical queries.
- Coordinate with engineering and design teams for timely release of approved drawings.
- Plan and coordinate dispatch activities as per project schedule and client requirements.
- Ensure availability of materials, packing lists, and dispatch documentation.
- Track manufacturing and procurement status and align with dispatch planning.
- Coordinate with logistics, stores, and dispatch teams for smooth execution.
- Prepare and maintain MIS, project trackers, and progress reports. Identify project risks, delays, or bottlenecks and escalate with mitigation plans.
- Ensure compliance with contractual and documentation requirements before dispatch.
- Maintain proper project documentation and records throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support project planner and management in coordination meetings. Assist in project closure, final documentation, and handover activities.
