Job Description
Role & responsibilities:
- Works closely with Industrial Designers to develop 3D models to explore designs and further prototype the designs.
- Proficient in building surface models from Rhino files to maintain product aesthetics.
- Possesses hands-on skills such as building mockups through sketches during early explorations of ideas.
- Proficient in Solidworks (Minimum experience of 3-5 years), plastic product surface modeling.
- Must possess good skills in working with 3D printed parts & assembling the components to form mockups or functional prototypes.
- Liaises with vendors to build prototypes
- Reviews and verifies design work of peers to check for compliance with standards and corporate procedures.
- Participates in a team environment to enhance processes and product performance.
- Renders 3d models using Solidworks/Keyshot rendering tools.
Skill Sets:
Must have -
Strong Solidworks (Minimum experience of 3-5 years), plastic product surface modeling.
understanding of prototyping tools and techniques
Good Communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with proficiency in English (verbal and written).
A positive attitude, innovative and creative thinker.
Good Communications skills to present ideas
